Install the Example Formula
This section provides guidance on installing and using SUSE-provided Salt formulas.
Install the locale formula with:
zypper install locale-formula

After installing the RPM, log in to the Uyuni Web UI.
Browse to thepage of any client you would like to apply the formula to.
On thepage you will see a new Formulas tab. Select it to view a list of installed formulas.
From the Formulas list selectand click Save.
A new tab will appear next to thesubtab. Select the new tab.
Thetab contains options for setting the language, keyboard layout, timezone, and whether hardware clock is set to UTC. Select the desired options and click Save.
Run the following command to verify pillar settings. The output has been truncated.
salt '$your_client' pillar.items

Apply this state to your client by applying the highstate from the command line with:
salt '$your_client' state.highstate
You can also apply the highstate from the previous formula tab from the Uyuni Web UI by selectingand clicking Apply Highstate.
